Appalachia Fire Department

AFD was dispatched at 1015hrs to a MVC on Callahan near United Mine Supply. Rescue 3 and Heavy Rescue 3 handled the assignment. Upon arrival Rescue 3 assumed command of the incident. Rescue 3 reported a two vehicle crash with one serious injury. AFD personnel assisted ARS in packaging and patient onto an awaiting ambulance. Patient was transported to Wellmont Lonesome Pine Hospital.
